Lockup Options
Lockup Options

There are two lockup options for sponsored spaces. They pair the Toyota logo with the space/venue name in either Toyota Type (preferred) or a unique venue font.

For lockups that require the inclusion of other partner logos, please see our Co-Branding Guidelines.

For all lockups, do not alter the Toyota logo in any way.

Venue Font Lockup
Venue Font Lockup

There may be instances where the sponsorship dictates the use of a display font. We recommend only using the venue font if it is distinctly different than Toyota Type. Avoid using other sans-serif fonts that may be mistaken for Toyota Type unless multiple spaces within the venue use the same font.

Modifications
Modifications

There are some situations where the preferred lockup may not be suitable. In these unique cases, some flexibility is permitted to ensure optimal legibility for the Toyota brand.

Any lockup modification requires approval by the TMNA Brand Team.

Adjusting for Type Legibility

The Toyota logo may not be altered in any way, with the exception of this designated edge case, which allows the wordmark to increase in scale. This alteration should only be done in exceptional cases when required by the nature of the venue or signage, specifically for signage affixed to structures with vertical space constraints. The type may be scaled anywhere between 100%-150%.

Scaling over 150% is not permitted.

Using the Legacy Logo (Limited Use)

The Legacy Logo, also known as the Corporate Toyota Mark and Logotype, is not preferred for use in signage and is only acceptable in the following scenarios:

  • If required by a specific sponsorship event outside of vehicle marketing.
  • If there are dimensional signage considerations (for example, three-dimensional channel letters).

Logos must comply with all TMC brand guidelines, and any use of the Toyota Mark and Logotype must follow the 2016 Corporate Brand Standards.
